Moroyal is a small mail-order workshop in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. We make personalized pieces from the photos our customers send us. This page explains what personal information we collect through moroyal.com and our checkout, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions go to info@moroyal.com.
When you order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you give one), the items you order, and the details you add to personalize them (for example your pet's name and notes). The photo you upload so we can design your piece. Payment details are entered into our secure checkout and handled by our payment provider — Moroyal never sees or stores your full card number. When you join our email list: your email address. When you browse the site: basic technical information such as your browser, device, approximate location (country) and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
To make and deliver your order: designing and sending your proof, producing your piece, shipping it and sending tracking. To talk to you about your order and answer your questions. To process payments, refunds and claims. To show prices and shipping options for your country. To send our email newsletter, only if you signed up — every email has an unsubscribe link. To understand how the site is used so we can improve it, using aggregated analytics. To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
The photo you upload is used only to make your order. We never sell or share it, and we never use it for marketing without your explicit permission. We may photograph the finished physical piece for our portfolio without your name or identifying details; tell us and we will leave yours out. You can ask us to delete your uploaded photo once your order is complete.
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with the service providers that help us run the shop: our e-commerce checkout and payment provider (which also keeps our customer and newsletter list), the shipping carriers that deliver your order (such as Canada Post and USPS), and our website hosting and analytics providers. These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States. We may also disclose information when required by law.
We use cookies to remember your shipping country, and analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop will still work, but your shipping country may not be remembered.
We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfil the order, handle any claims, and meet tax and accounting requirements. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Uploaded photos are deleted on request after your order is complete.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (except where we must keep it by law), and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Email info@moroyal.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the privacy authority where you live.
The site and checkout use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to order information is limited to the people who make and ship your piece.
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date below.
